BioSmart Pest Management (BSPM), an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, focuses on combating urban pests through eco-friendly, integrated techniques. BSPM conducts all research projects on evaluating the efficacy of products like insect traps, repellents, attractants, packaging materials, etc. against stored insect pests and urban insects. It also offers pre- and post-audit consultation to food establishments, warehouses, and pest management companies, detailing the qualitative analysis of the existing infestation or situation and suggestions to manage or prevent pest infestation.

Founder & CEO

Dr. Tripti Gupta, the Founder and CEO, has excelled as a Research Scientist with over 26 years of experience in Integrated Pest Management of Agricultural and Urban Pests. She holds a Doctorate in Zoology (Entomology) from Mysore University. In the past, she has successfully managed projects funded by esteemed organizations and served as a Scientist at the R&D Unit Bio-Control Research Laboratories Division of Pest Control of (India) Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Gupta's expertise centers around mass-rearing host insects and biocontrol agents, as well as researching and developing products and techniques for managing urban pests. Her track record includes successfully handling end-to-end contract research projects and developing strategies and methods for commercial applications. She has also been recognized for her outstanding research contributions and has actively engaged in various training programs to further her skills and knowledge. In addition, Dr. Gupta has received funding under the prestigious Young Scientist Fast Track Scheme of the Department of Science and Technology and is dedicated to conducting training programs for the benefit of farmers, researchers, scientists, warehouses, and food processing unit personnel, focusing on insect culture maintenance and effective pest management.
